Ski Rider is the largest hotel in the Kosciuszko National Park and only 11 kilometres from Perisher Resort. It is the place to stay if you want to be close to the snow but not pay 'on-snow' prices. Once you get to Ski Rider, you can park in the free parking and catch the free shuttle bus to Perisher and Smiggins, which runs nine times per day.
