The small town of Leyburn, just under an hour's drive from either Toowoomba or Warwick, is most known for a motorsport event, the historic Leyburn Sprint. Each August Leyburn's stately heritage streets roar to life, when thousands come to watch cars race in commemoration of the town hosting the 1949 Australian Grand Prix.
