Celebrate spring and the great outdoors at the Griffith Spring Fest - a fantastic fortnight of festivities in the heart of Australia’s food bowl. Enjoy visiting the many beautiful open gardens – chat with the owners and relax with lunch in a shady corner. Attend a workshop or walk and talk – a sure way to go home with some inspiration! Six open gardens are located in and around Griffith and include pretty town plots to large rambling farm gardens, with orchards, walks and water features. Many of the gardens offer a pop-up café – so stop and relax with a cup of tea and home baked slice, or relax over lunch.
The festival highlight is the Real Juice Company Citrus Sculptures. More than seventy sculptures line the main street for two weeks and include a reclining chook, grand piano, Grandfather clock and talking robot. Created using 100,000 oranges and an army of 700 volunteers, the sculptures are a testament to the local community spirit. Join in the celebration of the sculptures at the launch party....
