Thousands of travellers suffer across Asia today as 2,687 delays and 54 cancellations were recorded across eleven major Asian airports. The most operationally impacted airlines by volume included AirAsia (329 delays at Kuala Lumpur), Singapore Airlines (110 delays at Singapore Changi), Malaysia Airlines (160 delays at Kuala Lumpur), Japan Airlines (84 delays at Tokyo Haneda; 19 at Fukuoka), All Nippon (70 delays at Tokyo Haneda; 13 at Fukuoka), China Airlines (47 delays at Taiwan Taoyuan), EVA Air (45 delays at Taiwan Taoyuan), Lion Air (42 delays at Jakarta; 50 at Sultan Hasanuddin), and IndiGo (126 delays, 2 cancellations at Mumbai; 87 delays, 2 cancellations at Delhi; 55 delays at Bengaluru).Airlines with concentrated cancellations included Batik Air (23 cancellations, 36 delays at Jakarta; 9 cancellations, 17 delays at Sultan Hasanuddin), Iran National Airlines Corp. (3 cancellations at Imam Khomeini), SpiceJet (3 cancellations, 28 delays at Mumbai; 1 cancellation, 30 delays at Delhi), and Akasa Air (2 cancellations at Bengaluru; 1 cancellation at Delhi).Other prominent carriers experiencing delays included Air India (103 delays at Mumbai; 88 at Delhi; 11 at Bengaluru; 6 at Singapore Changi), Scoot (91 delays at Singapore Changi), AirAsia X (24 delays at Kuala Lumpur), Garuda Indonesia (18 delays at Jakarta), Citilink (22 delays at Jakarta; 6 at Sultan Hasanuddin), Delta Air Lines (4 delays at Tokyo Haneda), and United (3 delays at Tokyo Haneda).Airports affected were Kuala Lumpur International (754 delays), Singapore Changi (376 delays), Mumbai – Chhatrapati Shivaji (331 delays, 5 cancellations), Delhi – Indira Gandhi (284 delays, 4 cancellations), Jakarta – Soekarno-Hatta (229 delays, 23 cancellations), Tokyo Haneda (215 delays, 3 cancellations), Taiwan Taoyuan (159 delays, 1 cancellation), Bengaluru International (130 delays, 2 cancellations), Fukuoka (110 delays, 3 cancellations), Sultan Hasanuddin (93 delays, 9 cancellations), and Imam Khomeini (6 delays, 4 cancellations).Countries impacted include Malaysia, Singapore, India, Indonesia, Japan, Taiwan, and Iran.

Recorded 754 delays, the highest among all airports, with no cancellations. AirAsia and Malaysia Airlines accounted for the majority of disruption.

Logged 376 delays without cancellations, driven primarily by Singapore Airlines and Scoot operations.

Registered 331 delays and 5 cancellations, with IndiGo and Air India accounting for most delays.

Reported 284 delays and 4 cancellations, heavily concentrated among Air India and IndiGo services.

Recorded 229 delays and 23 cancellations, with all cancellations attributed to Batik Air.

Reported 215 delays and 3 cancellations, largely affecting Japan Airlines and All Nippon.

Logged 159 delays and 1 cancellation, with China Airlines and EVA Air leading delay counts.
