Customer service was terrible. I made a reservation for a Friday night and the lady on the phone misheard and booked for the Thursday instead. When I didn't show up on the Thursday they charged me for the night and refused to change my reservation or refund my money and I had to pay an extra $90 for the Friday night. Staff were not helpful at all and wasted a lot of time telling me I'd asked for the Thursday night, which was impossible because I was not in Orange on the Thursday.
Writing this review on behalf of someone else. He stayed in Room 6 the other day which was the newly updated room and was quite pricey none of the down lights or the air conditioning worked in this room and it was a hot night/ the WIFi doesn't work either.
Had a renovated twin room. Cost more than quoted price. Bathroom looks lovely but impractical - large shower head spreads water everywhere- down side & back of bath. It is difficult for older people to access. The kettle had to be filled over bath. Only mirror over handbasin. No where to store toiletries in bathroom. Beds were very comfortable & USB points are a good innovation.
Town Square Motel has some interesting information on why Australia is called the land down under?
Australia is known as 'the land Down Under' for its position in the southern hemisphere. The discovery of Australia began when European explorers searched for land under the continent of Asia. Before Australia was discovered, it was known as Terra Australis Incognita the unknown southern land.
