Our 28 hectare vineyard was first planted in the 1960?s and located at the height of one of McLaren Vale?s most elevated sites in the cool Blewitt Springs sub-region, sitting 130 meters above sea level. Grown in ancient sandy soils, the deep sand above the clay sub-soils allow the vines to be dry-grown with minimal or no irrigation, creating wines of intense flavours & soft mouth filling tannins. Our Homestead is nestled amongst our premium vineyards, a piece of private paradise. The Beresford Homestead comprises of two wings, each featuring superbly appointed living quarters ? The Reserve Suite and Grenache Villa, both with their own private courtyard with open fire place. The Beresford Tasting Pavilion is located on Blewitt Springs Road with an enviable view up the hill to the Grand House nestled amongst the Estate Vineyards.
