  This is our first time staying at the blue mountains and I think we picked a winner. Echoes boutique hotel and restaurant is the place to stay. You get full access to the facilities of the lilianfels hotel, which is 5 star, but you get a fantastic view. Your room looks right out onto the blue mountains. There is probably 50m of sloped land from the courtyard to the cliff edge, you are literally right on the mountains. The food is quite expensive, but the main street of Katoomba isn't very far away which has plenty of cheap places to eat. The rooms are a good size, the bathroom is nice, except our door, which has seemed to swell so it sticks when you try to open it again. We are very close to the 3 sisters and to scenic world, you can see the hotel from all over scenic world, but it's far enough away you don't hear the gears and cables. It's a very small place, but with access to the larger neighbour, and has amazing views.
