The Lake Burrendong Fishing Classic is strictly a 'catch and release' fishing competition with all native fish being released back into the dam. There will be approximately AUD35,000 worth of prizes to be won over the weekend with the major prize of a boat, motor and trailer package being a lucky draw - just enter, you don't even have to catch a fish!
All funds raised through the Fishing Competition go back into waterway initiatives including fishing education, habitat restoration and restocking.
