Founded by six local artist friends and operating since 2002, the Yarra Glen Art Show, now rebranded the Yarra Glen Arts Show is a major community art event for the Yarra Valley.
The show delivers great diversity and high quality paintings, from contemporary abstract to traditional landscape; photo realist and impressionist. All paintings and sculptures are on sale during the show.
The show has a successful track record over the past 13 years in substantially growing the connectivity of our community through various types of engagement. The community are given an opportunity to tell their story through art. It brings people together from all different backgrounds and creates community cohesion.
Local well known Artists are approached to Judge and in past shows, award works inspired by, or representing an aspect of the Yarra Valley. All visitors to the show are encouraged to vote for the favourite piece of work and the work receiving the highest number of votes is awarded the People?s Choice Award.
The breath of what the Yarra Glen Art Show has provided the community over the years has been about connection and the Coordinator and committee are dedicated and passionate about ensuring this continues....
