Calling all Garlic Lovers and 'Foodies'. The Koonya Garlic Festival is back for a third deliciously pungent year to celebrate Tasmania's garlic harvest.
The 2016 festival will be held on Saturday 27th February on the spectacular Tasman Peninsula, in the beautiful bucolic idyll of Koonya on the banks of Cascade Bay.
Garlic lovers can sample Tasmania's finest garlic, feast upon a range of gourmet food and beverage stalls, enter garlic bulb competitions, and listen to a series of inspiring talks on garlicky topics by ABC TV's gardening gurus Tino Carnevale and Angus Stewart, Dr Ree Van Galen and garlic expert Letetia Ware.
Enjoy the festival?s own fun version of ?Kitchen Cabinet? and learn to create your own delicious garlic inspired dishes by a raft of talented Chefs or just Kick back, relax and enjoy the wonderful musical entertainment!
